Our Mission Statement

Memphis Riverbluff Black Nurses Association’s mission is “To unify nurses, students, and partners to address the inequalities that exist between healthy and unhealthy communities, while simultaneously advancing the nursing profession.”

How We Take Action

What We Do

Memphis Riverbluff is a volunteer service association that partners with entities such as healthcare providers, faith-based organizations, businesses, nonprofit organizations, schools, government agencies, and schools of nursing to accomplish our mission.

The chapter uses a four-pillar model for programs, advocacy, and advancement of the nursing profession: Community Service, Youth Service, Health Policy, and Nursing Education. The model’s four focus areas align with our mission and describe what we do and who we do it with in simple terms.

Community Service

Youth Service

Health Policy
